January

Memere got a bit of a late start with her Christmas cards, but went right to work on them. Lassie brought in the new year with a bang. The rest of us went to bed at 8:30. Memere celebrated her 88th birthday with a family get-together at the new Chick-a-dee Restaurant in Lewiston.

December

Bruce went to Colorado to help with childcare when Beth went back to work on December 3. Asa was "resistant" to anything other than the most natural method of obtaining nourishment, so, when the nourishment went to work, we mixed up a batch of rice cement and started shoveling it in. Meanwhile, back at the swamp, the snow started a comin'. Memere and Bob had the duty of digging out. We had eight storms needing snow removal before the first of the year.

Cecile came to colorado a week following Bruce, and we spent about three weeks enjoying the kids and celebrating Christmas. Our ride home wasn't so delightful. We got stuck in a snowstorm in Denver, missed our connecting flight, and missed another flight the next day. A good time was had by all at the airport. (See photo)
